Through the implementation of ecological vegetable gardens in the urban area of Três Lagoas, the project aims to increase food security and income generation for families in situations of social vulnerability. The initiative is a partnership with the AEMS College and the Salesian Mission. In 2022, the project benefited 70 families, with a positive impact on 286 people.

The project offers qualification and professional training for workers in situations of social vulnerability. In addition to recommendations for jobs in the food sector, the initiative offers short-term courses to train kitchen assistants, barbecue chefs, fish cooks and waiters. In 2022, the project trained approximately 100 people, achieving a 70% employability rate.

The Colmeias (“Beehives”) project encourages sustainable honey production within our eucalyptus farms. In addition to supporting the development of beekeeping and assisting in the production and sale of products, we help increase the income and improve the quality of life of our neighbors. Through an investment of R$450,000, the program serves 141 people indirectly. In Ribas do Rio Pardo, we have a partnership with Coopardo Cooperative.

To connect unemployed workers in situations of social vulnerability with potential employers, we entered into a partnership with the Salesian Mission to offer different classes, such as in gardening, cleaning, makeup, automotive mechanics, electrical work and digital media tools. Participants in the project may receive offers for permanent or temporary work. In 2022, approximately 95 people participated in the initiative in Três Lagoas.

We assist in the implementation of agroforestry systems in settlements near our farms in Brasilândia, Ribas do Rio Pardo and Santa Rita do Pardo. The initiative encourages the sale of food at farmers markets, government programs and grocery stores. In 2022, the project received an initial investment of R$300,000 and served 75 people indirectly.
