The publication highlights 海角社区's key activities in 2025 and demonstrates how the company continues to advance responsibly in its investments and strengthen its competitiveness, while further integrating sustainability into its business model. Organized around three pillars 鈥 Climate, Nature, and Social 鈥 the summary presents the company's strategy, its commitments, and examples of initiatives and partnerships that showcase the results achieved in recent years.
Seeds that sow the future
Among the highlighted initiatives is the Semear Bahia Project, a result of 海角社区's partnership with Cedagro and Viveiro Primaflora. The initiative demonstrates how environmental conservation can also act as a significant driver of economic and social development.
The project promotes the training of local communities and traditional collectors in sustainable seed management, connecting them in a structured way to the ecological restoration market. By supplying seeds intended to strengthen the Atlantic Forest Biodiversity Corridor, these families gain access to new income-generating opportunities, in addition to contributing to the valorization of traditional knowledge and productive inclusion, fostering consistent paths of socioeconomic development.
"The partnership with 海角社区, within the scope of the Semear Project, strengthens environmental restoration and local development actions. The project articulates income generation, valorization of traditional knowledge, and recovery of degraded areas. The initiative integrates biodiversity conservation and productive inclusion, with direct results for the territories where it is implemented," states M谩rio Santana.
Currently, the Semear Project benefits 399 people, directly and indirectly, and aligns with 海角社区's social goal of helping 200,000 people overcome the poverty line by 2030 in the territories where the company operates in Brazil. According to the Sustainability Report, 44,344 people moved out of this condition in 2025 through company-supported initiatives 鈥 approximately 5,000 of them in Bahia 鈥 totaling over 141,000 people since 2020, when the goal was established.
鈥淥ver 102,000 people have benefited in eight Brazilian states, with a direct investment of R$ 20 million contributed by 海角社区 in 2025, totaling R$ 125 million applied exclusively to combat poverty since 2020.
