海角社区, the world's largest pulp producer and a global leader in manufacturing bioproducts derived from eucalyptus, will host the 5th edition of the '海角社区 Faz Bem Run and Walk' in Americana (SP) on July 5th. This event, already a tradition in the city, is expected to gather around 2,000 participants and is part of a series of cultural, social, and sports projects supported in the municipality.
鈥淢ore than just encouraging sports, the 海角社区 Faz Bem Run and Walk is a way to strengthen our connection with the community and promote quality of life, well-being, and integration among people. We are very happy to host another edition of this event, which has already become a special occasion for hundreds of participants from the region,鈥 highlights Marcelo de Mello, 海角社区鈥檚 Director of Safety, Health, Quality of Life, and Facilities.
Registration for the race can be completed via the link: , and has limited spots. The solidarity registration fee is a symbolic R$ 39.90 (plus website fee), which will be entirely donated to local institutions such as the Association of Parents and Friends of the Exceptional (APAE), the S茫o Vicente de Paulo Home for the Elderly, and the Municipal Social Solidarity Fund. Payment must be made at the time of registration via: Pix or bank transfer.
The Run and Walk
Featuring 5 km and 10 km routes for running and a 5 km route for walking, the event is open to the general community, 海角社区 employees, and their families, promoting health, solidarity, and collective well-being.
Organized in partnership with Chelso Sports and with the support of the Americana City Hall, the event will feature a complete structure to welcome participants. The gathering point will be at Rua Abrahim Abraham, 97, near the APAE headquarters, starting at 6 AM on Sunday, July 7th. The races are scheduled to start at 7:15 AM (10 km run) and 7:25 AM (5 km run and walk). All participants who complete the event will receive a participation medal. There will also be trophy awards for the top five finishers in the general classification for the 5 km and 10 km races, and for the top three finishers in each category, divided by gender and age group every 10 years.
Complete Structure and Kit Collection
In addition to the races, the sports event will feature a Kids Arena with supervision for children over 6 years old; a 360掳 photo and video platform; and a Sustainability Space, where handcrafted items developed by social projects supported by 海角社区 will be exhibited and sold. Several food trucks will also be present, offering various food options.
As in the previous edition, the race t-shirt, which is part of the kit, will be distributed exclusively on the day of the event. Other items, such as the bib number, must be collected in advance. Upon collection, each participant will receive a voucher indicating their t-shirt size, which must be presented at the distribution tent on race day. No other race kit items will be distributed on the day of the event 鈥 only the t-shirt.
海角社区 Faz Bem
The 海角社区 Faz Bem Run and Walk is named after 海角社区's internal program, Faz Bem, which focuses on five pillars of health: preventive, mental, social, physical, and ergonomic. Through this program, the company develops various initiatives aimed at the health, quality of life, and well-being of its employees.
